Ghost Story

Coming Soon...

I have moved onto another story. I actually started this a long time ago but I was not satisfied with every draft I made. This time I hope I can actually finish. I've got all sorts of ideas running through my head but stories need time and certain events to take place before moving on so I guess it'll take a long time again.
This story had a few titles (which I've decided not to post), so the current one is "Who's That Girl?" but it's not all about the girl so I will just call it Another Ghost Story -- indicating, literally, another ghost story. I am still thinking of a new title. It is my first time making a sort of scary / thrill type story but I have a feeling it's not going to work because I tend to shock myself the most. For now, the story will fall under the adventure category.

There is this town far away from all the other towns, separated by trees and basically only trees. Far from the other towns and isolated from population, is a ghostly and mysterious town known as Sherpson. Rumours and strange stories have been told about this town. No one goes there, no one lives there. But it all begins with a silly and unbelievable mess up in the lottery winnings for Candice Meubwel. Instead of the promised three million dollars, she receives free tickets to Sherpson town. Being the type of woman to never waste anything, she runs home and announces the prize to her children. Eventually during summer, the family of six ride the last train to the town and settle in for two months only. But by the end of the first month, with free food transporting to the town for the family, they conclude living there is a bit lonely yet all right. Just when they are about to say that the town of Sherpson is nothing but an empty town, older sister Camellia disappears. This results in Cherry running into a ghostly surprise, suddenly getting involved with personal problems of the immortals.

Who's That Girl? Characters:
  • Janice:  She is an "immortal" in the ghost town of Sherpson. She appears as a fourteen year old girl with long blue hair with a hair band. She carries a bow and arrow with her at all times that can shrink into a necklace. Her older brother is Zachery and her guardian is Xenon.
  • Xenon: The guardian or sidekick of Janice. She is a shadowy creature that takes the form of a bird.
  • Zachery: He is the older brother of Janice and also an "immortal." He has black hair and eyes that glow all the time. His weapon is a spear and can create a multiple number of them.
  • Radon: He is the guardian or sidekick of Zachery, as Xenon is to Janice. He is also a shadow creature but does not take any visible form.
  • Cherry Meubwel (15): Main protagonist. She is clearly the outcast of her family in appearance with orange hair and green eyes. She is adventurous, energetic, and not afraid of the dark or ghosts.
  • Johnson "Johnny" Meubwel (13): He is the opposite of Cherry, being scared of dark, ghosts, and any scary thing said. He is closest to Cherry out of all siblings.
  • Rosalinda "Rose" Meubwe (7)l: The youngest sibling in the family. She is friendly, naive, and understanding. She is the main target of the "immortals."
  • Michael "Mike" Meubwel (19): He is the oldest child in the family. He has a talent in everything. He has the closest relationship with Rosalinda, always looking out for her.
  • Camellia "Cam" Meubwel (16): She complains often and was against going to Sherpson from the beginning, fearing the loss of contact with her friends and annoyed that she had to spend her whole summer with her family.
  • Candice Meubwel: The mother. She is extremely childish and is easy-going with everything. She loves entering lotteries and gets drunk easily. She loves free things.

* Note: Meubwel is pronounced: mew-bul

“It happened in a small town named Sherpson.
No matter how hard or how much I thought about what happened, it was unforgettable.
And who am I to say what happens and what doesn’t?
Who am I to cut the thread of the human life?
The answer is: I am not the one.
The one is my owner; the one is my saviour; the one who let me live again; my master…”
