The full title of the story is actually "Dinosaur Survival and Hunt." The idea came from one of the strange dreams that I had one night. The dreams I have usually come from things I've seen a lot or thought about a lot (that might be the case with you too), and sometimes they don't flow or make any sense. This is my test to see how well I can just create scenes and plots to make the dream a little more, well, story-like.

Every year since forever in this mysterious piece of land called "the Land," teenagers ages thirteen to nineteen were to participate in a strange activity known as the Dinosaur Survival Hunt. The activity usually lasted three days only and occurred on the last day of autumn and the first two days of winter, however, this year it extended to seven days. What was in the survival hunt arena was exactly what the title was: dinosaurs. The point of the activity was for the teens to survive those days and get close enough to the dinosaurs to collect some information proving their existence but not get killed. But the real reason why this activity was created was unknown. It was just thought of as a tradition. Or a way of life. A wild one that no one dared to question.

Dinosaur Survival and Hunt main characters:
- Cassandra "Casey" Lee (15): considered different from other of the land due to her curiosity and naivety.
- Acacia Lann (14): cheerful and energetic, and becomes Casey's first friend.
- Elias Merrows (15): friendly, somewhat reserved, and harbours a secret or two.
- Matthew Errybel (15): funny, yet unable to express himself honestly.
- Chouchou Belle (15): chatty and appears confident yet is insecure.
- Lenny Sachi (16): quiet, had been in the survival hunt before and understands situations well.
- Mei Xing "May" Chang (14): intelligent, usually goes with the flow, and gets excited about dinosaurs.
- Jonathan Fare (13): athletic, coordinated, and likes being noticed or praised for the hard work he's done.
